Born in 1995, Alex Holt has always had an interest in expressing creativity. Alex spent his youth attracted to dinosaurs, playing video games, and watching anime/cartoons. After graduating from La Conner in 2013, Alex then went to Western Washington University where he got his degree in Bachelors in Studio Arts in 2023.

Some of the biggest influences on Alex’s work is the Artwork from Blizzard Entertainment(Warcraft, Diablo, and Starcraft), Pokemon, Zelda, Destiny, Total War:Warhammer, the manga series Uebel Blatt, Berserk, the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, the artwork of Osamu Tezuka, the manga group Clamp, and the artwork of Jack Kirby. Other influences come from Frank Frazetta, H. R. Gieger, and Zdzislaw Beksinski.

Alex chose to name his studio after the last name of his great grandparents, the Thomas’s and the Decker’s.
